About
Kiss Facility is a duo formed by Mayah Alkhateri, an Emirati Egyptian musician, and Salvadore Navarrete, the producer known as Sega Bodega. Their sound sits somewhere between shoegaze and indie rock, threaded through with Arabic language vocals that give the project a distinctly uncommon texture. The pair released the album KHAZNA, a word that translates roughly as vault, treasury or safe room, and the title shapes everything around it: the record treats concealment as its central idea, unpacking themes of love and liberation through layered vocals and unexpected sonic choices. It is the kind of music that rewards close listening, with emotional weight tucked into the arrangements rather than announced upfront.
