About
Three siblings from the Durham family, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis play between them guitar, piano, bass, drums, harmonica, banjo, lapsteel, ukulele, xylophone, accordion and more, and every single one of them is a multi instrumentalist. Their sound pulls from R&B, blues, soul, punk, rock and roll, and West Indian music, giving them a style that feels genuinely rooted in something older and rarer. They have sold over a quarter of a million records worldwide, opened for Coldplay on their Viva La Vida Tour in North America, and played Glastonbury four times. Their first two albums were recorded in the back room of their mother's house, before they built Durham Sound Studios in Camden Town, where they recorded The Third, co produced with Mick Jones, and their fourth album Superscope. Their cover of Stevie Wonder's Signed, Sealed, Delivered arrived in 2019.
