Lainey Wilson spent years grinding away in Nashville before everything clicked into place, and when it did, it clicked hard. Her 2020 single 'Things a Man Oughta Know' spent enough time building momentum on streaming platforms that by 2021 it had hit number one on Billboard Country Airplay, turning her into one of country's most talked about names almost overnight. That song anchored her debut BBR album 'Sayin' What I'm Thinkin'', a 12 track record that showed off her knack for writing music that feels both rooted in classic country and genuinely modern. Since then, Wilson has kept piling up wins. She topped the country chart again with Cole Swindell on 'Never Say Never', released the album 'Bell Bottom Country', and took home Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards in both 2023 and 2025, a rare back to back feat. She also stepped into acting, joining the cast of Yellowstone in 2022 as Abbey, and has racked up a Grammy plus sixteen Academy of Country Music Awards along the way.
