About
Lavina is a six piece metal band from Niš, Serbia, put together in the middle of 2020. Their sound sits between alternative and modern metal with some progressive leanings, built from heavy guitar riffs, atmospheric keyboards and cold electronic textures, with lyrics that lean introspective and raw. Live, they go for a big, cinematic feel. The debut album Odyssey came out in 2022, followed by a run of standalone singles, including In Your Absence and Iron Will in 2024 and This, Too, Will Pass in 2025, which pointed to a shift in their style. The band has toured clubs and festivals around Europe. In 2026 they won Pesma za Evroviziju, the Serbian Eurovision selection, with the song Kraj mene, a title that can be read in Serbian as both The End Of Me and By My Side, which earned them the spot of representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest.
