About
LAWN got their start in 1998, initially rooted in space rock and stoner rock before gradually shifting toward indie and post rock while holding onto that heavy, dynamic guitar sound throughout. The band put out three albums, with Backspace opening up a run of Dutch stages and festivals, and Silver following in 2009. After extensive touring behind that record, things went quiet for well over a decade and a half. The four piece lineup of Job, Titus, André and Sietse eventually found their way back together, and the reunion clicked quickly into familiar territory. A bit greyer, a bit wiser, and reportedly a bit louder. Alongside revisiting older material, they have also been working on new songs that apparently just needed their time before they could exist.
