Formed under Jay Park's More Vision label in 2025, LNGSHOT is the first boy band to come out of that camp, and they arrived with a lot of swagger and a fair bit of controversy. The four members, Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Louis, blend K pop with hip hop and R&B in a way that critics noticed was actually their own thing rather than a rehash of what came before. Their debut single "Moonwalkin'" references Michael Jackson and Beyoncé, and was originally written as a solo track for Woojin before the whole group claimed it. The road to their January 2026 debut included a surprise festival appearance, a middle finger photo that sparked backlash, and a pre debut single where Jay Park parodied a scolding CEO to roast the whole situation. Since then they have kept busy: Billboard Korea named them their February 2026 Rookie of the Month, they released the EP Training Day, teamed up with Jay Park on the mixtape 4shoboiz Vol. 2: 4shoville, and even contributed to the soundtrack of the Anderson.Paak film K Pops!.
