Malcolm Todd first turned heads in 2023 when his TikTok singles 'Art House' and 'Roommates' went viral and landed him a deal with Columbia Records. Both tracks ended up on his 2024 mixtape Sweet Boy, which he followed up by opening for Omar Apollo on the North American leg of the God Said No World Tour. His music sits at the crossroads of indie pop and alternative R&B, with a bedroom pop sensibility drawn from artists like Steve Lacy, Dominic Fike, and Ryan Beatty. He's also known for working obscure chords into his sound to carve out something distinctly his own. His self titled debut album arrived in April 2025, spawning 'Chest Pain (I Love)', his first Billboard Hot 100 entry, and a collab with Omar Apollo called 'Bleed' featuring cameos from Jack Harlow and Harry Daniels. A deluxe edition later that year pushed the record to number 49 on the Billboard 200. Then came the real breakthrough: his 2024 track 'Earrings' quietly became a global sleeper hit, cracking the top 20 in the US and the top 40 in the UK and Canada. His second album Do That Again followed in 2026 and debuted at number five on the Billboard 200.
