Michelle Branch picked up her Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals alongside Santana for 'The Game of Love' back in 2002, which says a lot about the kind of cross genre reach she had right out of the gate. Her second album The Spirit Room is the record most people know her from, a Double Platinum pop rock effort that gave the world 'Everywhere' and 'All You Wanted'. Hotel Paper followed in 2003, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earning her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. Branch has never stayed in one lane. She stepped into country territory with Jessica Harp as the Wreckers, scoring a Grammy nomination with 'Leave the Pieces', then returned to solo work with Hopeless Romantic in 2017 and The Trouble with Fever in 2022. Her sound pulls from pop rock, alternative, and country depending on the project, making her catalogue genuinely hard to pin down in the best way.
