About
Also known as: Monika Engeseth
Moyka makes electropop out of thumping synths and a melancholy streak, then pushes it toward the dancefloor. She comes from Buskerud in Norway, and her songs are built around love and longing, with lyrics that turn personal feelings into something you can move to. Her debut album, The Revelations of Love, arrived in 2021 and drew attention abroad, with Billboard and NOTION among the outlets covering it. NOTION named her a One to Watch. Her sound shifts between intimate, fragile moments and big, euphoric ones, always with beats that work best in a crowd.
