About
Nederpop All Stars is a live band that brings together the actual original singers behind some of the biggest Dutch pop hits of the eighties. Rather than a tribute act, the group performs with the real voices: frontpeople from Het Goede Doel, The Time Bandits, Toontje Lager, VOF de Kunst, Trafassi and Mai Tai all share the stage, including names like Alides Hidding, Erik Mesie and Nol Havens. The result is a parade of instantly recognisable songs, delivered by the people who made them famous in the first place. The concept is built around collective nostalgia and audience participation. Singalongs are basically inevitable when the setlist pulls from tracks like Vriendschap met Suzanne, Kopje Koffie, Stiekem Dansen and Mai Tai. With that many crowd pleasers and that many original artists on one stage, the shows tend to feel more like a party than a concert.
