Ocean Grove has one upcoming show in the Netherlands: on February 26, 2027 at Dynamo, Eindhoven.
About
Ocean Grove started out in Melbourne as a post hardcore band and ended up building their own corner of heavy music, which they call "Odd World Music". Louder Sound described the mix as a scattershot cocktail of hardcore, nu metal, grunge, alt rock and electronic hip hop, and that pretty much covers it. Their 2017 debut, The Rhapsody Tapes, landed at No. 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was picked as a Feature Album by Triple J. The core trio is vocalist Dale Tanner, Sam Bassal on drums, production and guitar, and bassist Twiggy Hunter, with studio members Luke Holmes and Matthew Kopp (aka Running Touch) still in the orbit. Flip Phone Fantasy followed in 2020, then the more melodic Up in the Air Forever in 2022. In 2024 they launched their own label, Oddworld Records, signed to SharpTone, and released Oddworld that November, leaning harder into metalcore. They call the whole gang The Oddworld Collective.
