About
Orange Skyline is a Dutch band built around brothers Stefan and Niels van der Wielen, and their catalogue spans radio friendly pop to more stripped back acoustic territory. The group has released two albums, the self titled 'Orange Skyline' and 'Dreams To Keep', both of which produced radio hits. One track that stands out is 'Poete Maudit', an acoustic piece that found a strong audience on Spotify and gives a good sense of what the band can do when they pull things back to their quieter side. That quieter side is a genuine strength. The brothers have woven acoustic moments into their records throughout their career, and the band is equally at home in an intimate setting as on a bigger stage. Their vocalist has a particular talent for drawing a crowd in, the kind of storytelling delivery that can silence a noisy room.
