About
Overpass are a four piece from Birmingham whose sound sits somewhere between the raw, expansive rock of The War On Drugs and the storytelling directness of Tom Petty, with streaks of shoegaze woven through the mix. Their take on 1990s alt rock channels the sleepless nights and stubborn hope that come with your twenties, and it translates well to a live setting: the band has already sold out shows and built a loyal following in their home city. They have also appeared as support for The Wombats and Inhaler. Their debut album 'Elsewhere, Always' has an arena sized ambition to it, suggesting a band well beyond the size of the venues they started in.
