Rag'n'Bone Man, the stage name of Rory Graham, built his reputation on one of the most distinctive voices in British music: a deep, soulful baritone that draws equally from blues, soul, and hip hop. His breakthrough single "Human" dropped in 2016 and became a genuine phenomenon, hitting number one in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland, and turning up everywhere from Amazon Prime series to Super Bowl ads. The debut album of the same name arrived in early 2017, went four times Platinum in the UK, and broke the record for the fastest selling debut by a male artist in the country that decade. He won British Breakthrough Act and the Critics' Choice Award at the Brit Awards that year, then picked up Best British Single for "Human" in 2018. Before all that, Graham spent years grinding through the underground, releasing EPs on independent labels and collaborating with UK hip hop acts on High Focus Records. His second album, Life by Misadventure, arrived in May 2021 and shot straight to number one on the UK Albums Chart, spending seven weeks in the top 10. Along the way he has worked with Calvin Harris on the track "Giant", appeared on a Gorillaz record, and collaborated with Pink on "Anywhere Away from Here".
