About
Robert Jon & the Wreck hit the ground running when they formed in Orange County, California in 2011, completing a 60 show national tour and dropping their debut album within their first six months. The five piece plays a blend of blues rock and Southern rock, and they've built their reputation the old fashioned way: relentless touring across the US and Europe, with festival slots alongside Joe Bonamassa, Peter Frampton, and Foreigner along the way. Their 2021 album Shine a Light on Me Brother drew some of the best notices of their career, with reviewers calling it their strongest work yet. The previous record, Last Light on the Highway, earned a mention in Rolling Stone and put the single "Oh Miss Carolina" on Planet Rock Radio in the UK for three months. The current lineup centers on frontman Robert Jon Burrison, guitarist Henry James, and keyboardist Jake Abernathie, who stepped in after Steve Maggiora departed to focus on touring duties with Toto.
