Robin S built her reputation on one of the most recognisable vocal house tracks of the 1990s. "Show Me Love" originally came out in 1990, but it was StoneBridge's 1993 remix that sent it flying, hitting number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and landing at number five on the Hot 100. Her debut album of the same name followed close behind and eventually shifted over 300,000 copies in the US alone. The song proved to have serious staying power too, with a 2008 radio mix reaching the top of the Dutch Top 40. Her second album, From Now On, landed in 1997 on Atlantic Records and showed a wider range, mixing Gospel and R&B alongside the dancefloor energy she was known for. Singles "It Must Be Love" and "Midnight" both hit number one on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. She kept active through the 2000s with European tours and cruise liner performances, and in 2016 her collaboration with DJ Escape on "Shout It Loud" went to number one on the US dance chart. In 2023 she signed with Humble Sound Records to put out new music.
