Sissal is a Faroese pop singer who ended up flying the Danish flag at Eurovision 2025. She won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with "Hallucination," then helped Denmark qualify for the final for the first time since 2019, finishing 23rd with 47 points. She was only the second Faroese artist to represent Denmark at the contest, after Reiley in 2023. She was singing in competitions long before that, winning the children's contest Nósa Barnaprix in 2005 and the Ársins Songrødd competition in 2010. Her first EP, Hear Me Now, arrived in 2025. She cites Dagny and Robyn as inspirations. After Eurovision she competed on Vild med dans, the Danish take on Dancing with the Stars, and in 2026 she came back to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with "Infinity," finishing third in the super final. She also served as Denmark's spokesperson at the 2026 Eurovision final.
