About
Temperance pile heavy guitars, metal riffs, electronic elements and touches of folk into something melodic and genuinely massive. The Italian power metal band has been at it since 2013, and seven albums in they show no signs of slowing down. Their 2023 release Hermitage, Daruma's Eyes Pt 2 is their most ambitious project yet: a full concept album that serves as a sequel to a track from 2018, pulling in guest appearances from Arjen Anthony Lucassen of Ayreon, Fabienne Erni of Eluveitie, Laura Fella of Faun, and Alessandro Conti of Twilight Force. The lineup has shifted quite a bit over the years, with Kristin Starkey stepping in as female vocalist in 2023 alongside new drummer Marco Sacchetto. Through all the changes, guitarist and vocalist Marco Pastorino has been the constant thread holding the whole thing together.
