Few bands have kept the torch burning for tough guy hardcore quite like Terror. Formed in Los Angeles in 2002, the group built its reputation the hard way, grinding through relentless touring across Europe, Australia, Japan, South America and beyond, all while anchored by the unshakeable pairing of vocalist Scott Vogel and drummer Nick Jett. Their debut album One with the Underdogs sold over 40,000 copies, and the band never really slowed down from there. Over nine studio albums, Terror have kept a grip on the hardcore scene that few of their peers can match. Stereogum called them an institution within their genre, which tracks when you look at a catalogue that runs from the raw aggression of Always the Hard Way through to later releases like Live By The Code. The lineup has shifted plenty over the years, but Vogel's delivery and the band's no nonsense, full throttle approach have stayed constant.
