Richmond Hill's The Flatliners have been one of Canada's most consistent punk acts since 2002, blending punk rock and ska into a sound that earned them a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic. They spent years in the trenches of the Fat Wreck Chords touring circuit, sharing stages with NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Less Than Jake, and Joan Jett, and showing up at Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds, and Riot Fest along the way. Their 2010 album Cavalcade pulled rave reviews across the board, and Dead Language landed a Juno Award nomination for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year in 2014. After playing the final Punk In Drublic Festival in late 2024, a send off for their longtime label mates NOFX, the band signed with Equal Vision Records and came out swinging with the single "Misanthropy & Me" in December 2025. Their album Cold World followed in 2026, and the band even released a videogame tied to it where players can step into the shoes of each band member.
