The Lumineers built their reputation on big, stomping folk pop and an electric live presence that made them one of the standout acts of the Americana revival in the 2010s. Formed in Ramsey, New Jersey, by Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites, the band relocated to Denver and grew into a trio when cellist Neyla Pekarek answered a Craigslist ad in 2010. Their self titled debut landed in 2012 and shot to No. 2 on the Billboard 200, eventually going triple platinum in the US and Canada on the back of infectious singalongs like "Ho Hey" and "Stubborn Love". Follow up album Cleopatra went one better, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2016. The band has kept up a steady pace since, releasing their fifth album Automatic in early 2025 and cementing a spot among the most consistently popular touring acts in the country.
