About
These Wicked Rivers describe their own sound as 'heavy blues wizardrock', which tells you a lot about what they are going for: something raw, spirited and a little bit otherworldly. The Derby group draws from the deep well of rock and blues tradition and shapes it into a style that sits somewhere between muscular blues rock and southern rock, with plenty of soul running through it. They formed in 2014 and have since built a reputation as a genuinely compelling live act, filling venues across the UK and Europe. Their catalogue includes several studio albums, among them Fire and Folklore. If you have ever seen them play, you will understand why audiences keep coming back.
