Tim Akkerman built his profile as the frontman of the most popular band from The Hague in the 2000s before stepping out with a new project. Since 2014 he has been touring with The Ivy League, playing pop venues, theatres and festival stages across the country. With four studio albums behind them, the band has grown into a well established name on the Dutch music scene. Akkerman himself is described as a versatile musician and composer, and the live show is considered a genuine draw wherever they play.
