About
Tom Rowlands of the Chemical Brothers and Norwegian singer Aurora make a pretty unlikely duo on paper, but Tomora is the real deal. Rowlands first caught Aurora live at Glastonbury in 2016, and the two spent years weaving in and out of each other's work before eventually building something entirely their own. Rowlands had already contributed production to Aurora's fifth studio album What Happened to the Heart?, and Aurora had appeared as a guest on No Geography, so by the time they started Tomora sessions the chemistry was well established. The project was kept under wraps for a while, with early Tomora tracks quietly slipping into Chemical Brothers DJ sets before anyone knew the name. Their debut album Come Closer landed in April 2026, preceded by singles like Ring the Alarm, The Thing, Somewhere Else, and I Drink the Light, with all the video shoots handled by director Adam Smith. It is a proper electronic record, and judging by the recent uploads, In a Minute is the latest thing they have shared.
