Troye Sivan (AU)

About

Also known as: Troye Sivan Mellet, トロイ・シヴァン, 트로이, 트로이 시반

Troye Sivan has a knack for turning personal vulnerability into pop that sticks. The Australian singer songwriter built his initial following on YouTube before signing with EMI Australia in 2013, and his early EP TRXYE debuted at number 5 on the US Billboard 200, no small feat for a debut release. His single "Happy Little Pill" cracked the Australian Top 10 and set the tone for what was coming. His first full album, Blue Neighbourhood, delivered the multi platinum "Youth", and his second album, Bloom, pushed further into sleek electropop territory. "My My My!" hit number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, with critics praising both the sound and its unapologetic celebration of queer identity. His third album, Something to Give Each Other, topped the ARIA Albums chart in 2023 and earned him three Grammy nominations via the singles "Rush" and "Got Me Started". On top of all that, he holds a Golden Globe nomination for the song "Revelation" from Boy Erased, where he also acted. Rolling Stone Australia has ranked him among the country's 50 greatest artists of all time.
