About
Also known as: Joe Thornalley, Joseph Winger Thornalley
Vegyn, the London producer born Joseph Winger Thornalley, built his reputation by doing production work on Frank Ocean's landmark 2016 projects Blonde and Endless, a credit that put him on the map globally. From there he went on to contribute to Travis Scott's Astroworld and UTOPIA, as well as JPEGMafia's All My Heroes Are Cornballs, showing a real range across left field rap and experimental electronic sounds. His own catalogue is equally restless. The 71 track mixtape Text While Driving If You Want to Meet God! was followed by Only Diamonds Cut Diamonds, featuring JPEGMafia, Retro X, and Jeshi. He also runs the label PLZ Make It Ruins and has been releasing music under the alias Headache, a project that stirred up conversation when he confirmed the vocals were AI generated while insisting the credited lyricist Francis Hornsby Clark is a real, very private friend. His second album The Road to Hell Is Paved with Good Intentions arrived in April 2024, and a collaboration with Air called Blue Moon Safari followed in 2025.
