WhoMadeWho are a Copenhagen trio who have quietly carved out a serious reputation across the spectrum from indie pop to melodic techno and afro house. Jeppe Kjellberg on guitar, Tomas Høffding on bass and vocals, and Tomas Barfod on drums have been making music together since 2003, releasing albums on their own terms while building a devoted live following. Their catalogue runs from their self titled debut in 2005 through to UUUU in 2022, an album drawing on 90s and 00s electronica and 80s post disco. Live, they have a knack for landing remarkable stages: headlining Benicàssim after Klaxons missed their slot, playing Coachella 2023, and performing for Cercle at the ancient temples of Abu Simbel in Egypt. Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age covered their track Space for Rent, and Hot Chip asked to remix TV Friend after a tour together. More recently they have been collaborating with artists like Adriatique, and a 2025 release with Everything Is Art shows they are still finding new creative ground.
