Wilkinson, the London based producer and DJ born Mark Daniel George Wilkinson, carved out his reputation on RAM Records with a string of drum and bass singles before breaking into the mainstream with "Afterglow" in 2013. That track, featuring Becky Hill, hit number eight on the UK Singles Chart and became the standout cut from his debut album Lazers Not Included, which reached number two on the UK Dance Chart. From there he kept building, with follow up singles like "Half Light" and "Hopelessly Coping" continuing to pull in Radio 1 support. His second album Hypnotic arrived in 2017, and he went on to team up with Sub Focus for the collaborative full length Portals in 2020, a project that grew across a run of singles including "Illuminate" and "Just Hold On". He launched his own label Sleepless Music in 2021 to give himself and artists like S.P.Y and Fred V a home. His fourth album Cognition followed in February 2022, with standout cuts including "Used to This" and a reunion with Becky Hill on "Here for You". More recently he has been working with NORTH, releasing "Balance" in 2024.
