About
Also known as: ZEKE
Zeke play hardcore punk the way the band itself describes it: raw, fast and loud. The Seattle group lean on lightning riffs, hard driving rhythms and songs that don't bother with complications. Frontman "Blind" Marky Felchtone delivers it all in a shouted, throaty style, and tracks like 'Kicked in the Teeth', 'Death Alley' and 'Til the Livin' End' show the formula at its best. The band started out in the DIY punk scene, putting out the single 'West Seattle Acid Party' in 1993. From there they worked their way up to headline status. Around 2000 they began working with Relapse Records and pushed their sound closer to heavy metal, which fits the speed metal streak in their music. They went on a break in 2007 and returned in 2018 with the studio album 'Hellbender'.
