About

Also known as: Aaron Fredrick Mitchell Jr., 에이제이 미첼

AJ Mitchell's song 'Used to Be' was written when he was just 13 years old, and it now sits at over 150 million streams, a pretty wild starting point for a career. The Belleville, Illinois native blends alternative R&B and electropop, and after building a fanbase through YouTube and Instagram covers, he signed with Epic Records in early 2018. His debut EP Hopeful put him on the map, with 'Girls' cracking the Top 40, and he kept that momentum going with 'All My Friends' and the Ava Max collab 'Slow Dance'. His debut album Skyview landed in 2021, and 'Stop' from that record also made the Top 40. He cites Bruno Mars and Lil Wayne as key influences, which tells you something about the range he's going for. His second album As Far as the Eye Can See is set for release in 2025.
