About

Also known as: Marty Zambotto

Go Jo, the stage name of Perth born singer and songwriter Marty Zambotto, built a following the old fashioned way: one guitar performance at a time. His song "Mrs. Hollywood" became a genuine viral moment after a video of him playing it at Bondi Beach racked up over six million views, and the track has since crossed one billion views across all platforms. His cover of the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" has pulled in over three million Spotify streams, showing he can make someone else's song feel completely his own. His guitar driven pop sits in a sweet spot between intimate singer songwriter territory and something much bigger in scale. He has shared stages with the Jonas Brothers, Milky Chance and Tash Sultana as an opening act, which says a lot about the range of crowds he can win over. In early 2025, SBS selected him to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel with "Milkshake Man", opening the second semifinal. A debut album, The Go Jo Variety Show, is scheduled for release in 2026.
