About

Also known as: Pauline de Lassus, Pauline de Lassus Saint-Geniès

Mina Tindle is the stage name of Parisian singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist Pauline de Lassus Saint Geniès, who works in folk and new wave. Her debut album Taranta came out in 2012 on Believe Recordings, and her second album Parades followed in 2014, co produced by Bryce Dessner of The National, whose albums she has also contributed vocals to since 2007. Before going solo she played with the Brooklyn band The Limes, and that time spent in New York left its mark on her sound. There is something quietly distinctive about her music: intimate and carefully layered, it sits somewhere between delicate folk and something more atmospheric. She has a remarkable musical lineage too, counting French composer Charles Gounod among her ancestors.
