Nick Schilder spent years as one half of the Dutch pop duo Nick & Simon alongside Simon Keizer, racking up hits like Rosanne and Kijk omhoog before the pair wrapped up their musical partnership in 2023 with a farewell concert series at Rotterdam Ahoy. The two had been a fixture on Dutch television as well, co hosting shows like Beste Zangers and Talenten Zonder Centen, and that side of things continues even now that the music chapter is closed. Since going solo, Schilder has taken a turn toward the dancefloor. His debut solo single Shatterproof came out in 2023, followed by Realize, and he has kept up the pace with Dancin' Alone and Run in 2024. More recently he teamed up with Dutch duo Lucas & Steve on Something like Magic, a collaboration that signals he is serious about carving out a space in electronic and house music on his own terms.
