Dutch soul singer Nona built a devoted following through relentless gigging before she ever released a note on record. She cut her teeth playing bars, jam sessions and street corners before heading to New York to record with producers Likeminds, who had previously worked with John Legend and The Roots. That transatlantic detour paid off: her debut singles landed on NPO Radio 2 playlists, and her 2019 self titled debut album entered the Dutch charts at number 28. She earned recognition as a 3FM Talent pick and scored an Edison nomination for best newcomer that same year. Her 2022 follow up No Tears in My Champagne kept things moving, and the single Sleeptalking went gold. She has played stages at Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Down the Rabbit Hole, covering a lot of ground for a singer whose warm, soulful sound feels built for late nights and close listening.
