Wodan Boys are a rock band from Den Haag with a knack for hooky, guitar driven sounds that have been quietly winning over Dutch radio listeners. Formed by singer guitarist Thomas van der Want (known from Soul Sister Dance Revolution) and guitarist Mikkie B Wessels (of Taymir), the band later rounded out their lineup with bassist Timo Prins and drummer Olivier Lucas, both from Son Mieux. Their debut EP landed in 2021 after a pandemic related delay of about a year, and they have kept up a steady rhythm since, dropping Wodan Boys II and then Wodan Boys III. That third EP got serious attention: their single Bells was voted the best Dutch song of 2022 by listeners of KINK, earning the coveted KINK XL tag, and Thunder Glove picked up the same honour. The 3FM Awards of 2023 named them 3FM Talent, a solid sign that the wider Dutch music world had started paying attention. Their debut full length album, God Speed a Go Go, followed in 2025.
