About Acting The Maggot
Acting The Maggot are a Dutch folk band with a taste for the Irish tradition, and the name gives the game away immediately. 'Acting the maggot' is a well known Irish expression for foolish or boisterous behaviour, which sets the tone perfectly for what they do on stage.
