Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.

Black Country, New Road headlines this open-air show at Openluchttheater De Goffert in Nijmegen, part of the Doornroosje 'Live in het Park' series. The acclaimed British experimental post-punk seven-piece, known for their Mercury Prize-nominated debut and latest album 'Forever Howlong', is supported by Madra Salach. Doors open at 19:30, with the show starting at 20:15.
