DRU Cultuurfabriek in Ulft is a cultural center housed in the restored Portierscomplex of the former DRU iron foundry, which operated from 1754 and is now a protected industrial site. The venue contains a theater hall, a pop music stage, a grand café, and meeting spaces that retain elements of its industrial past. It serves as a hub for cultural and creative activities, local associations, and community organizations including a music school, gallery, library, and cultural centers.
About Rick de Leeuw
Rick de Leeuw made his name fronting Tröckener Kecks, a band that dominated Dutch rock in the 1990s and spent many summers touring the festival fields of the Netherlands and Flanders.
