About
Rick de Leeuw made his name fronting Tröckener Kecks, a band that dominated Dutch rock in the 1990s and spent many summers touring the festival fields of the Netherlands and Flanders. Songs like 'Met Hart En Ziel', 'Een Dag, Zo Mooi' and 'De Jacht Is Mooier Dan De Vangst' helped open the door for other Dutch language acts such as Van Dik Hout and Bløf. As a solo artist he has lost none of that relentless energy. His album 'Het Komt Allemaal Goed' spans twelve songs with an intense but notably upbeat feel, ranging from the singalong 'Het Is Toch Je Kind', which looks at a ruthless killer through his mother's compassionate eyes, to the stomping, bar room tempo of 'De Een Na Laatste'. The record even stretches across three sides of vinyl, a sign of just how much material he had to work with.
