De Oosterpoort has been Groningen's main music venue since 1973, offering an internationally renowned stage for pop, classical music, and performing arts. Wende is a Dutch singer, performer and theatre maker whose work refuses to sit still in one genre. Her music rubs up against electronics, chanson, theatre and performance art, and the same song can take on a completely different shape from one night to the next.
