Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.
About Wende
Wende is a Dutch singer, performer and theatre maker whose work refuses to sit still in one genre. Her music rubs up against electronics, chanson, theatre and performance art, and the same song can take on a completely different shape from one night to the next.
