Paradiso is a music venue in Amsterdam housed in a former church designed by architect Gerlof Bartholemeus Salm and completed in 1879. Occupied by squatters in 1969, the building gradually transformed from a space for films and lectures into a pop music venue. It now operates two rooms hosting approximately fifteen bands weekly, alongside regular film nights and jazz performances, and has hosted numerous national and international acts since its establishment as a cultural space.
