K pop group Enhypen debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with The Sin: Bliss, while Ultimate Dolly Parton returned to the top 5 following the passing of the legend.

South Korean K pop group Enhypen has topped the Billboard 200 for the first time. The album The Sin : Bliss debuted at number 1 on the chart dated September 5, after earning 98,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week ending August 27, according to data provider Luminate. This marks the group's seventh top 10 entry, all of which have come since 2022. Earlier this year Enhypen landed at number 2 twice, with The Sin : Vanish in January and Romance : Untold in 2024, but that one extra spot had remained out of reach until now.
Of those 98,000 units, the vast majority, 92,000, came from actual album sales, which simultaneously pushed Enhypen to the top of the Top Album Sales chart. Streaming activity accounted for around 6,000 units, corresponding to roughly 6.91 million on demand streams. The strong sales figures were largely driven by the availability of more than thirty different CD and vinyl variants, each packed with collectibles like photo cards, stickers and posters, with some items being randomized.
There is also notable news from elsewhere in the top 10. At number 5, the greatest hits compilation Ultimate Dolly Parton returned to the chart following the death of country legend Dolly Parton, who passed away on August 25 at the age of 80 after a brief illness. During the tracking week, which covered less than three days after news of her death broke, the compilation earned 59,000 equivalent album units, almost entirely driven by streaming activity. It is the fourth ever top 10 entry for Parton on the Billboard 200 and her second highest charting album. Her previous top 10 appearances include the all star project Rockstar at number 3 in 2023, Blue Smoke at number 6 in 2014, and the collaborative album Trio at number 6 in 1987, which she recorded with Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris.
Ultimate Dolly Parton was originally released in 2003 and features twenty classics including Jolene, I Will Always Love You, 9 to 5 and Islands In the Stream, her duet with Kenny Rogers. Before this week, the compilation had last appeared on the chart in 2020. In the recent tracking week it was Parton's best selling album with 7,000 copies sold, which was the determining factor in the allocation of streaming and track units for chart calculation purposes.
The rest of the top 10 is filled out by former chart toppers. Ella Langley climbed with Dandelion from number 5 to number 2 with 70,000 units, Olivia Rodrigo rose with you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love from number 4 to number 3 with 67,000 units, and Morgan Wallen held at number 4 with I'm the Problem and 63,000 units. Rounding out the top 10 are KATSEYE with WILD at 6, Noah Kahan with The Great Divide at 7, Stray Kids with THIS and THAT at 8, Drake with ICEMAN at 9 and Ariana Grande with Petal at 10.
