Haywire announces 80 shows in 2027, including a stop in Nijmegen

Boston hardcore band Haywire has announced a massive world tour for 2027. According to Pitchfork, the group will play no fewer than 80 shows across Europe, the United Kingdom and North America between January 3 and April 30. The tour follows the band's new album I Don't Wanna Say Goodbye, which came out recently. Metal Injection calls it yet another enormous tour, and with good reason, because the band is no stranger to a packed schedule.

The run kicks off in the United Kingdom, with dates in Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham, among others, plus a show at The Garage in London on January 10. After that, Haywire crosses over to the continent. In Europe, the band will play Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary. Comeback Kid, Whispers and Speedway join them on the bill for these European dates.

For Dutch fans, there's one date to remember: on January 21, Haywire plays Doornroosje in Nijmegen. The show falls right in the middle of the European leg, between Antwerp on January 20 and Cologne on January 22. So if you want to see the Boston band live without a big trip, you can head to Nijmegen, or to nearby Antwerp or Cologne.

After the European tour, Haywire continues in the United States in February, including a festival appearance at LDB Fest in Louisville. A long string of club shows across the country follows, with a show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on March 11 and one at Metro in Chicago on March 25. In April, the band travels through Canada, from Moncton and Halifax to Vancouver and Victoria, where the tour wraps up on April 30. In the summer, Rock am Ring on June 4 and Rock im Park on June 6 in Germany are also on the schedule. According to Revolver, the American leg is a headline tour, with GVLLOW and Béton Armé among the support acts.

The announcement fits the group's work ethic. Pitchfork points out that in 2025, Haywire played all 50 US states on a self organized DIY tour. The band also has an Australian run lined up for late 2026, including opening slots for Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys. Against that backdrop, the 2027 tour looks like little more than a continuation of an already full calendar for Haywire.
