Europe's smallest Art Nouveau theater, built in 1904 as an insurance office in Leeuwarden, now functions as a theater restaurant. The monument features a striking roof sculpture by Joseph Mendes da Costa depicting four pelicans, symbols of the insurance industry. The venue hosts intimate concerts, theater dinners, cabaret, children's theater, lectures, exhibitions and workshops in its ornate interior and exterior spaces.
