Twentse Schouwburg

The Twentse Schouwburg in Enschede has been integrated into the Wilminktheater and Muziekcentrum Enschede. It contains two halls: an intimate venue with 300 seats dating from 1889 and a larger hall with 900 seats operating since 1953. The theatre underwent major renovation in 1985 and presents opera, musical theatre, plays, musicals, cabaret, pop music and dance. The venue has a strong tradition in youth and theatrical programming, with over 60 youth performances per season.
