About
ALEXSUCKS built their reputation on a sound that crashes garage rock and dance punk together, pulling in shades of The Clash and disco to create something that feels both rough and genuinely fun to move to. The Los Angeles four piece, led by vocalist and guitarist Alex Alvarez, first caught serious attention with "Talk To You," their debut million streaming single from 2021. Their first full length, The Gutter, produced by Brendan O'Brien, arrived in July 2023 and put them on the Billboard charts with "6 Pack and Cigarettes." That same period saw them touring alongside The Black Keys and Plain White T's. Things stepped up considerably from there. They opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Forum in Los Angeles, played the Life is Beautiful festival, and dropped the EP Warm Beers in late 2024, which Alternative Press praised for spanning alternative rock, dance punk, and old school MTV territory. Their 2025 single "What We're Doing Here" pulled over six million Spotify streams, and they released the album Autopilot on Warner Records in February 2026.
