About
Brother Wallace spent years singing backup for the English soul rock band The Heavy, touring the world from the wings. That backstage role led to an unexpected creative partnership with The Heavy guitarist Dan Taylor, and the two ended up making a full album together. The result is Electric Love, Brother Wallace's debut record, where he steps firmly into the spotlight with a sound rooted in classic soul and R&B. Think the kind of raw, confident energy that defined the genre's golden years in the sixties and seventies. For a guy who spent so long a few steps behind the mic, the leap to solo artist sounds entirely natural.
