About
Chase Matthew got his break when country rap artist Upchurch stumbled across his songs online and signed him to the Holler Boy label in 2021. From there, the Sevierville, Tennessee native built momentum fast, releasing the "County Line" EP and his debut album Born for This before landing a deal with Warner Records Nashville in late 2022. His Warner debut, Come Get Your Memory, arrived the following June packed with 25 tracks, and the singles "Love You Again" and "Darlin'" both found their way onto country radio. Matthew's sound sits at a crossroads of country pop, country rock, and country hip hop, giving him a versatile appeal that fits neatly alongside the new wave of country acts pushing genre boundaries. He has kept up a steady pace of releases, with multiple EPs dropping in 2023 and 2024, and his third album Chase arrived in early 2025.
