About
Clearwater Creedence Revival is a tribute band built around the songs of Creedence Clearwater Revival, the group that went from nowhere to legend in just five years between the late sixties and the early seventies. The lineup is a bit of an all star affair, with former members of The Animals and The Hollies in the ranks. The set is all about that swampy mix of country, blues and rock 'n' roll that CCR made their own, and the big, gravelly sound that came with John Fogerty's voice. Expect the hits, the kind of songs that still turn up on best of lists everywhere: Fortunate Son, Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary and Have You Ever Seen the Rain.
